Our Deep Charred Wood is therefore available in standard square-edged profiles as well as with tongue and groove joints.
With great attention to detail and years of experience, the individual timbers are carefully selected in our timber factory and then planed, carbonised, brushed and sealed. This makes each individual piece of wood unique.
With our traditional, vertical deep-charring process according to Yakisugi, we carbonise in a particularly deep and energy-saving way using a pure flame – without fossil fuels such as gas or chemicals.
We also source our FSC and PEFC-certified wood primarily from domestic forests that are managed according to high social and ecologically sustainable standards. We plant trees in cooperation with the Austrian Federal Forests, thereby making our local forests climate-friendly.

Choose between two different versions of our Deep Charred Wood: carbonised or refined. Regardless of the desired style, all woods are first carbonised using our traditional, vertical deep-charring process according to the Japanese Yakisugi method with a pure flame.
If you opt for the refined style, the wood you have chosen is then carefully brushed by hand by us and refined using a special process so that the wood grain, wood colour and wood structure are revealed under the charred surface.
Depending on the processing and type of wood, this special technique creates a very special look: from an elegant, silver-grey shimmer to an ingenious reclaimed wood look in rustic brown tones.

Do you prefer lighter-coloured, smoother and natural wood for your terrace, facade, windows or doors? Then our modified premium wood is an excellent choice for you!
Accoya, Kebony and Thermo Fraké are ideal for outdoor use thanks to their good resistance and hardness. Depending on the type of wood and how it is processed, these woods have a smooth, ribbed, rough or sanded surface and a light grey to dark brown colour.
